At the same time, Tommy flees with the narcotics and the money supplied by Forelli. Unfortunately, as the deal is about to be completed, gunmen storm the meeting and kill several other guys. The game is set in 1986, when player character and protagonist Tommy Vercetti is freed from jail and sent to Vice City by Sonny Forelli, the head of the Forelli Mafia family in Liberty City, to set up a narcotics trade.
As the title suggests, the game is filled with criminality and carjacking.
